Thomas Thomas, Tre'rddol


General Post-Office, January 6, 1800.

Thomas Thomas, of the village of Treyrddole, in the parish of Llanganfelyn, in the county of Cardigan, farmer, charged with stealing a bank post bill, of the value of fifty pounds, which was contained in a letter sent by the post, having escaped out of His Majesty's gaol at Cardigan,

Whoever shall apprehend and secure the said Thomas Thomas, in any of His Majesty's gaols in this kingdom, on or before the 20th day of March next, shall immediately thereupon receive a reward of fifty pounds.

The said Thomas Thomas is slender made, about six feet high, pale complexion, has brown hair, grey eyes, is about thirty five years of age, has worked as a shipwright, and is supposed to be known upon the coast as a smuggler.
