Will of Morgan Jenkins, curate of Llangynfelyn, 1715

Abstract of will
The will of Morgan Jenkins, clerk, curate of p. Llangynfelyn, co. Card., being sick of body but of good and perfect memory. My soul to God, and my body to the earth, to be decently interred as my executor shall think fit. I give to the cathedral church of St Davids, 4d.; and to my son Watkin Morgan, 20s., to be paid within one year of my decease. I give the residue to Mary my beloved wife, with a desire that at her decease, she may make a reasonable distribution of what will remain to her children, viz., my son Lewis Morgan, and my daughter Jane, the wife of Thomas William, and her children. I make Mary my wife my sole executrix. Signed and sealed 11 June 1715 in the presence of Ho. Penry [the surrogate],         Thomas David, sexton, and Thomas Jenkin.
Probate granted to Mary, widow, the executrix named in the will, 19 March 1717.
