Probate of The last Will and Testament of Mr William Thomas deceased

In Her Majesty. s High Court of Justice.

BE IT KNOWN, that at the date hereunder written, the last Will and Testament (a Copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of William Thomas of Trerddol in the parish of Llangynfelin in the County of Cardigan Farmer deceased, who died on the 8th day of May 1894 at Trerddol aforesaid was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of Her Majestyís High Court of Justice, and that Administration of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to John Thomas the Son of the said deceased the sole executor named in the said Will he having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same.

And it is hereby certified that an affidavit in verification of the Account of the said estate has been delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the said estate amounts to £86 . 2 . 0 and no more.

The Will

This is the last Will and Testament

of me

William Thomas of Trerddol in the Parish of Llangynfelyn in the County of Cardigan Farmer. I give and bequeath unto my son John Thomas all my Freehold houses and lands situate in or near to the said Village of Trerddol and all my stock crops, implements of husbandry household furniture and all the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal property of what nature and kindsoever, but, subject to and charged with the payment of the following legacies, that is to say the sum of Two pounds and ten shillings to my daughter Jane Jones the wife of John Jones, and the sum of Two pounds and ten shillings each to Lilian Elizabeth Thomas and William Percival Thomas the children of my son William Thomas (deceased), and the sum of ten shillings to my son Lewis Thomas, and the sum of Five Pounds to my daughter Mary Anne Griffiths the wife of Edward Griffiths and the sum of eight pounds to my son Thomas Thomas, and also with the payment of all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, I appoint my said son John Thomas sole executor of this my will, and lastly I revoke all former testamentary documents made by me, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirty first day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninety two
