There is another transcript available by J H Davies in "Historical Society of West Wales Transactions" III, 1913 p.106, which contains the following notes: |
"(re: William Jones, Doleclettwr) Son of William Jones, who died October 1736 aged 36. William Jones junior was High Sherriff of Cardigan in 1766, he died 5 April 1779 aged 48. His only daughter Jane married John Watkins of Bryngwyn, and died at Brysgaga in 1845, aged 72. Her son W J Watkins, sold Brysgaga to Sir P Pryse, Gogerddan."
"Only freeholders who resided in the county, and had lands or tenements of the clear annual value of 40s, above all charges, were eligible to vote (8 Hen VI, c7)"
